| Milang is about 110km S.E. from Adelaide, on the Western shore of Lake Alexandrina. This is Australia's largest natural freshwater lake and is at the end of the Murray River, Australia's longest river. Since 1940, the Lake has been a reservoir, with "Barrages" built across the Mouth, raising the level by 0.75m and preventing salt water from entering. | |||
