Fire & Rescue Appliance
Built on a Mazda T4600 Chassis, this appliance is designed mainly for urban firefighting, but has the capability to deal with scrub/grass fires if required. It carries 1300 litres of water and has a 2000 l.p.m. Darley pump which feeds two high pressure hose reels and larger delivery outlets. This appliance carries four sets of compressed air apparatus and spare cylinders and is also equipped with basic road accident rescue gear, including hydraulic cutters and spreaders (Jaw of Life).
